Jeremie Verdeau and Sophie Pollini are keen to share their activity, not only by tasting their products via the host table that is deemed in the region, but also by visiting their organic farm.

The farmer couple is involved since 2006 to showcase the family plot in the same way as did their ancestors at the time, in a spirit of close and trying to restore dynamism to the micro-region.

Le potager du Nebbio covers 2.5 hectares and it is harvested tomatoes, cabbage, arugula, eggplant, cucumbers, zucchini, leeks and potatoes as well as basil, onion…

An inventive cuisine that smells maquis

Visitors are invited to settle in the rustic tables set under the olive trees in a soft environment. The menu features dishes concocted by the couple with the products of the garden and the daily harvest. A rare opportunity to taste quality products that taste good and meet farmers who love to share their passion.

Inventive, the cuisine gives pride to local products such as pie-tatin vegetable garden tomatoes, cheese samosas fresh herbs from the garden, the zucchini risotto with prawns, cannelloni or fresh cheese, sauce and spices with fresh mint, tiramisu or the chestnut meringue with strawberries…

And good surprises such as organic beer like Jade or Ribella with honey from the maquis, malt and hops organic, developed through Patrimonio source of water or fruit juice organic produced on site.

Exceptional location in the maquis ★

  • Located on the road to San Griolo in Oletta, close to the Domaine Piancarella, the farmhouse offers a country setting, away from the bustle of Saint Florent which is a 10 minute drive.
  • Nebbio is one of the most famous Corsican regions since ancient times for the quality of its vineyards, olives and sheep cheese. Le Potager du Nebbio honors this tradition.

  • Le Potager du Nebbio offers inventive and local cuisine based on the products coming from the property.
  • Fruits and vegetables: tomatoes, cabbage, arugula, eggplant, cucumbers, zucchini, leeks (…) are grown following the principles of biodynamics in respect of the land.
  • Additional products are purchased at market Bastia and surrounding properties, as Morati oil, wines from the renowned Domaine Guidicelli Muriel located on the lands of Patrimonio or Mariotti Domains, or Vico Cordoliani, selected productions are often Ecocert certified.

Professional and warm welcome ★★

  • Professional and friendly welcome and the service staff is attentive and eager to please. Unbeatable value for money. You may order a basket of organic products of the day. Fruits and vegetables are also for sale on site which allows tourists or boaters who stop in the beautiful bay of St Florent to buy products of quality.
  • The restaurant’s reception capacity is limited to thirty guests but a hundred people can be accommodated on the occasion of special events.
  • Themed evenings are planned: Tales, Theater, Jazz, New Orleans, etc…
  • A playground has been built for children in front of the restaurant.
  • It is strongly advisable to book especially during the summer and during weekends.
