Located in an old restaured sea mill along Jaudy river, the restaurant cooks only local food and seafood. You can enjoy magnificent view on the Jaudy river where you can, depending on the tidal, get a perfect mooring almost in front of the restaurant.

A beautiful setting and an authentic atmosphere

We get there by car or boat, night or day, the scene instantly enchant visitors. Little piece of secluded paradise between Kerdano remarkable gardens and the banks of Jaudy, the restaurant bar L’Abri des Barge has an authentic charm. Made with quality materials, the restoration of buildings of this old tide mill of Carpont is particularly successful. The exterior blends beautifully with the landscape while the interior, modern and friendly, invites guests to enjoy their meals in a serene and pleasant atmosphere.

Followers of art, the owners have designed this place to be able to welcome the painters, sculptors and photographers to promote their work through exhibitions.

The Jaudy’s river shores an enchanting and relaxing place in the surroundings of Bréhat ★★

  • The site: ‘L’Abri des Barges’ is located on a magical 1.9 hectare property on the edge of Jaudy a beautiful coastal river, and at a walking distance of the Kerdalo’s gardens. Built on the former site of the tide mill in Trédarzec Carpont, the restaurant offers to the guests a relaxing and harmonious atmosphere with an exceptional view of the river and its boats that sail along.

Besides landscapes, visitors can enjoy the presence of a rich wildlife: seals, cormorants, terns, gulls… Two moorings were set up on the river just opposite the restaurant to accommodate boaters.
